About me

​

I am a qualified humanistic counsellor and an experienced coach. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I am a warm, calm, compassionate person who is very genuine with a sense of humour. I work confidentially and respectfully, always putting your needs first. I have experience in counselling for a wide range of mental health issues and working with experiencers of domestic and sexual abuse. I am also experienced in the issues relating to prescribed psychiatric drug dependence and the effects of withdrawal. 

 

Before qualifying as a counsellor, I was an experienced manager and qualified as a member of the Chartered Management Institute. My field of expertise was learning and development where I facilitated the development of behavioural and leadership skills, specialising in coaching, at all levels. I am able to  draw on this experience whilst supporting clients in counselling and coaching.

 

My passion has always been about people. I enjoy helping others to resolve inner conflict, find happiness and lead a fulfilling life.
